How do I keep my sensitivity between games?
Pick the game you play now and the one you are moving to, enter your sensitivity, and this sensitivity converter gives you the number that turns exactly as far per inch of mouse movement.
Converted sensitivity
0.3143
Sensitivity in Valorant.
Both turn 360 degrees in 52.0 cm (20.5 in) of mouse movement.
Runs in your browser. Hip-fire sensitivity, default sensitivity mode in each game.
How does the sensitivity converter work?
It keeps your cm/360 the same: the distance you move the mouse for one full turn. Every game turns the camera by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1, called its yaw. The converter scales your sensitivity by the ratio of the two yaws:
new sensitivity = sensitivity × yaw of old game ÷ yaw of new game
If you also change DPI, it multiplies by the old DPI divided by the new DPI. Doubling DPI halves the sensitivity you need.
Quick conversion table from CS2
Multiply your CS2 sensitivity by the factor in the right column. To go the other way, divide.
| Game | Yaw | CS2 sensitivity times |
|---|---|---|
| Counter-Strike 2 and CS:GO | 0.022 | 1.0000 |
| Apex Legends | 0.022 | 1.0000 |
| Team Fortress 2 | 0.022 | 1.0000 |
| Quake Champions | 0.022 | 1.0000 |
| Valorant | 0.07 | 0.3143 |
| Overwatch 2 | 0.0066 | 3.3333 |
| Call of Duty (MW III, Warzone, Black Ops 6) | 0.0066 | 3.3333 |
How do I convert CS2 sensitivity to Valorant?
Divide your CS2 sensitivity by about 3.18, or multiply by 0.3143. CS2 turns 0.022 degrees per count and Valorant 0.07, so Valorant needs a smaller number for the same turn. A CS2 sensitivity of 2 becomes about 0.63 in Valorant.
How do I convert Overwatch 2 sensitivity to CS2?
Divide your Overwatch 2 sensitivity by about 3.33. Overwatch 2 turns 0.0066 degrees per count, three and a third times less than CS2, so its numbers are bigger. Overwatch 2 sensitivity 5 is 1.5 in CS2. Call of Duty uses the same scale as Overwatch 2.
Why does my aim still feel different?
The converter matches hip-fire turning speed. Two things can still feel different:
- Field of view. A wider field of view makes the same turn look slower on screen. Small aim corrections near the crosshair can feel faster or slower even though a full turn takes the same distance.
- Scoped and aim-down-sight sensitivity. Each game has its own setting for this, often on a different scale. Convert hip fire first, then tune scoped sensitivity in game.
Also check your DPI. If the number in your mouse app is off from what the sensor really does, the conversion carries that error along. The DPI analyzer measures the real value.
Why is my game not listed?
We only include games whose sensitivity is one plain multiplier with a known yaw. Games with percentage sliders or several stacked multipliers would need guesses, and a wrong conversion is worse than none. If you know a reliable source for another game, tell us.
